Kiki's delivery service began in 1989 originally from Japan.

The story follows: Kiki, a young witch who moves to a new town and uses her flying ability to earn a living. Kiki flies on her broomstick to koriko, a seaside town with her talking black cat jiji to spend a year alone, in accordance with her villages's tradition for witches in training.

After learning to control her broomstick, kiki sets up a flying courier service and soon becomes a fixture in the community. She opened a business, delivering goods by broomstick "The Witch Delivery Service".

Jiji befriend a white cat Lili, and Kiki could not understand Jiji's sudden behaviour. She's depressed and also lost her flying power and was forced to halt delivery service.

On a visit to customer, Kiki witness an accident which makes her to regain her flying power and rescue the victim. Kiki regains her confidence and resume delivery and wrote a letter home saying that she and Jiji are happy.

Nowadays, as worldwide delivery service demand of goods and other services specially in crypto space are incresing significantly, Jiji together with Kiki came up with the idea of creating Kuroneko coin $JIJI.
